To apply for an apprenticeship in Germany, you need to have a grade 12 school certificate and a B1 german language certificate. These are the official criteria by german law for your visa application. Most hotels will demand a higher leverl than B1 though.

Joshua was our first candidate who came from South Africa to Germany. He is now working in a top hotel in the city centre of Berlin.
Daniella is from Namibia. She worked in a hotel in Lüderitz, and in autumn 2023 we were able to relocate her to Germany. She was working in a 4-star hotel in the city center of Berlin, close to the legendary Alexanderplatz.
Now she is back home. Her plan was to gain knowledge abroad and take the skills back one day to her home country, Namibia, in order to boost her career.
